Personally I find most modern “easy& quick” styles challenging, time consuming, and ineffective. Nothing lasts half a day. Vintage all the way.

I never wear make-up and never realized how much people would put on their face. Thinking of which, none of my friends do so much either, the most is some lipstick and a bit of mascara. I feel like that's more accurate to current society and fits with the easy effortless approach seen in styling overall. Maybe. I dunno. I'm not even interested in style.

I feel like most modern makeup should just be foundation and lipstick, maybe a little eye shadow. I rarely see anyone wear more than that. Contouring is more next level shit.

That’s pretty much the point of modern make up, it’s to look perfect, perfect face, perfect body, which means that who you really are, what you really look like, it’s irrelevant, it’s how beautiful & flawless can you make yourself look... your true appearance is unacceptable & unattractive. No matter how you look it’s not good enough try harder. That’s the point in modern make up.
