This reminds of a question I've wanted to ask for ages. Did women have the equivalent of hand lotion before the 1900s? Were they worried about wrinkly hands as they aged? Also, did they do nail polish? I know henna nail dye was used by even Cleopatra so it's been around forever, but others?

I'm new here and assuming you're genuine and really do use cheaper products. If so, good for you. I watched you cut your own hair without acting like the typical PC assholes here on you tube, lol. You look great. I'd give anything for your head of hair, your eyes and your brows, seriously. I'm 66 and sometimes still use Dove or Caress bar soap on my face when showering; I did that for years, and both are milder and more on the moisturizing side. I use a generic Cetaphil cleanser in the mornings. I love Walmart's Equate generic collagen day and night cream; the texture and smell are wonderful, and this one does work. I've always cut and styled my own hair and use the Suave Professionals line; again, they smell fabulous, and the conditioners are very good. I'm not as much into vintage as I'd like to be, but as a retiree, I also don't care much about it anymore.

wake up nice and early around 1 pm
stare at facebook
run downstairs at 1:26 and log on to work
run fingers through hair absently between clients
i also brush my hair every few weeks to give it something extra special!

I like it very natural, so I use only a thin layer of brown Mascara.
